The KCFA Triangle chapter was born in March 2003 under the chairmanship of Dr. Duncan Kihoro and his deputy chair, Mr. Gordon Agingu. They both served for two terms in the chapter before transitioning to serve in the National executive board, Gordon Agingu as First Vice president and Dr. Kihoro as National KCFA president till 2015. The chapter boards consisted of chairperson and deputy, secretary, treasurer, and women, men, youth and children directors. Initially the chapter held quarterly meetings but since 2015, the chapter now meets monthly ion the 3rd Saturday of the month. This chapter also continues to provide the Triangle community with much needed informational forums, workshops, monthly meetings, outreach services, academic scholarships, internship programs, community service hours for the youth and much more. We embark on empowering and uplifting one another as we live and work together in the diaspora. KCFA triangle chapter has many departments. The triangle executive board includes all directors and their deputies. Underneath them, each department has a collaborative working committee that runs the affairs and events of that department. So far we have men, women, youth, children, compassion/hospitality, outreach, and board of trustees, treasury, ushering, intercessory, praise / worship and the IT departments. We have weekly, monthly and annual events organized to support, empower, enrich, enlighten and encourage brothers and sisters to reach their highest potential spiritually, economically, socially and in all dynamics of their lives. There is always a place for you to serve in this chapter. If you are interested in serving in any of these departments, please contact the respective director. We are determined to make impact in this community and you are heartily welcome to join us.
The vision of KCFA is to proclaim practically the gospel of Jesus Christ to people of all the world and in particular those of Kenyan descent in the diaspora. KCFA aims at developing and enhancing Christian fellowship among the Kenyan communities in North America both through the national and local chapter levels.
Unity in diversity.
